Every hero has a calling. Some hear it and embark on their journey, while others wait. My story began in the warm streets of Adana. At the time, I wasn’t aware, but the journey I was about to take would lead me to stages, movie sets, yoga mats, and, most importantly, to awakening the hero within others.
🌀 Call to Adventure: The Beginning of the Search
Some journeys start with a spark. For me, that spark was born at the intersection of art and spiritual teachings. While studying English Business at Çukurova University, the fire burning within me drew me toward art, theater, and the depths of the human soul. But an ordinary path was not enough for me.
Listening to my inner voice, I began exploring the world. In India, I studied sound therapy at P.K. Salve Music Academy and researched Kundalini healing at the Vashi International Sahaja Yoga Research & Health Center. In Thailand, I studied Tao teachings with Mantak Chia, and in China, I received Universal Healing Tao training. I discovered the healing power of voice, breath, and body.
💫 Crossing the Threshold: Transformation Begins
True heroes undergo a profound transformation at the beginning of their journey. Between 2010 and 2014, I trained in theater, vocal training, dance, and on-camera acting at Müjdat Gezen Art Center and Ekol Drama. I pursued a master’s degree in cinema at Kadir Has University, deepening my studies in storytelling.
During this journey, I took “The Power of the Actor” training with Hollywood’s renowned acting coach Ivanna Chubbuck and experienced one of my most significant realizations: When emotions are directed correctly, it’s not about creating a character but living within it.
However, my greatest discovery came when working on creative drama under the guidance of my mentor, Ayla Algan. I realized that drama is not only a tool for the stage but also for transformation in every moment of life. Through the Hero’s Journey model, I taught people how to tell their own stories.
And finally, my book was born:📖 "Would You Be My Scene Partner?" – A work that blends the Hero’s Journey with cinema to open the doors to personal transformation. Published in 2016, my book was translated into German in 2020 and reached European readers under the title "Erwecke Den Helden In Dir."
🌟 First Victory: Creating My Own Space
At one point, I realized that I needed to bring together everything I had learned and share it with others. On my journey from Istanbul to Berlin, I founded Arda Eşberk Akademi, blending theater, cinema, personal development, and spiritual teachings.
🎭 I wrote and directed the play "Daughters of Cybele" in Berlin.🎙️ I work as a moderator at Metropol FM.🧘♂️ I provide training in personal development, art, and mindful awareness.

To inspire people on their hero’s journey, I have worked with various institutions and communities:
🎬 Conducted Cine-Drama training for Vodafone, the Turkish National Team, and the Capital Markets Board of Turkey.🎭 Taught Cambridge-Certified English Drama at Tarabya British Schools, affiliated with Cambridge University.🏛️ Provided creative drama education for children and young people in collaboration with the Berlin Senate.📰 Member of the European Turkish Journalists Association and columnist for Şalom Newspaper.

At the end of a hero’s journey, they return home to share the knowledge they have gained. The most crucial part of my journey has been guiding other heroes.
